who we are
we use our experience and skills to design buildings that are inclusive and accessible to all, sustainably responsible and help stimulate community engagement and participation.
An award-winning architectural practice combining outstanding design with a strong record of project delivery. We have an ethical and inclusive approach to our work.
We work across the southern states of Australia from our offices in Melbourne, Hobart and Central Victoria.
our values
You, our client, pay the bills. We focus on giving you great service. We contribute our expertise and guidance as part of this and, whether you’re a project manager delivering a community or commercial facility, or a homeowner needing residential alterations, we work with you to understand, help shape and deliver your outcomes.
We have a strong sustainability focus (eg recycle buildings and components, use local materials & trades, minimise waste & ongoing costs) and a practical, buildability-based approach -value for your money, value for our common resources, sensitive to location and community. Balanced responsibly, these should deliver economic and environmental wins for all. See our Sustainability Policy here.
We also take our social responsibilities seriously, for everyone impacted by our work. We support equity, inclusivity and diversity through ‘universal design’ (UD) principles, recognising that experiences of arrival, activity and amenity should be clear, logical and common to everyone -if we seamlessly meet the needs of our youngest, oldest and most vulnerable building users (without resort to ‘bolt-on’ solutions), we are heading in the right direction. See our Inclusivity Policy here.
We have an equal gender balance across the practice, and we comply with the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry and its Guidelines. We actively consider equal employment opportunities and undertake pro-bono community service work.
